The Ark Project app for iPhone and iPad

“The Ark Programme” is an art project jointly created and initiated by artists Wang Xieda and Liu Chuyun, a project that volunteers are invited to participate in. Using water as a theme, we attempt to narrate stories related to “water” — which has a most intimate relationship with the shared destiny of humanity — and to represent them through art that appeals to the human heart.
What do we hope to accomplish with this project?
Through the participation of volunteers all around the world, we hope that this project would lead people to see how water participates in the history of individuals and humanity as a whole;
To see the shocking situation of the present and how it shares an incredibly intimate relationship with us;
We hope that this project would make us pause amid this busy, nonstop, material world, and explore why things happen;
To take a step further and consider the real predicament humanity is facing;
To find the answer together.
